Missouri Botanical Garden issued $14M grant

The Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis has received a $14.4 million grant.

The funding, which was provided by an anonymous source, will go toward an initiative to digitize the Missouri Botanical Garden's herbarium collection.

The grant also pays for 20 new staff positions and four post-doctoral research students to operate the digitization effort that involves the use of artificial intelligence.
