Missouri awarded $6.5M early childhood education grant

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded a $6.5 million early childhood education grant to the state of Missouri.

The grant is earmarked for the Stronger Together Missouri project, which aims to conduct comprehensive needs assessments for children aged birth to 5 years old.

"The grant will allow Missouri to offer even stronger services to our youngest students and their families," Gov. Mike Parson said in a statement.
