Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway has filed suit against the U.S. Census Bureau and Department of Commerce.
In the litigation, Hanaway is seeking a redo of the 2020 census to exclude people living in the United States without legal status.
According to the lawsuit, Missouri would gain another congressional seat and Electoral College vote in 2030 under a reworked census.
