Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is assisting Gov. Mike Parson in a crackdown on intoxicating hemp products.
Bailey is creating a new specialized unit that would help enforce Parson's executive order banning the products.
Bailey said at a Tuesday news conference that his office would start a “dedicated electronic repository” for the Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control to submit referrals. Bailey said his office's new unit would be responsible for “investigating its licensees, collecting evidence of deceptive marketing practices."
