Missouri attorney general sues Biden administration over student debt relief plan

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey's office has filed suit against the Biden administration.

The suit seeks to cancel a nearly eight-month-old program that has waived $1.2 billion in student loans for 153,000 borrowers and limited the payment amounts for 8 million others, the Missouri Independent reports.

Bailey is joined in the suit by attorneys general from Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, North Dakota, Ohio and Oklahoma.
