Missouri attorney general asks for return of $177M from FCC

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is asking the Federal Communications Commission to return $177 million in defaulted broadband funding.

Multiple providers reportedly defaulted on their commitments through the FCC’s Rural Digital Opportunity Fund. That leaves many locations in Missouri without service, Bailey said.

Bailey said the money would be used for the Missouri Broadband Fund.
