Missouri American Water has paused billing after a cybersecurity breach.
New Jersey-based American Water, which operates in 13 states including Missouri, called the breach a "cybersecurity incident."
"We currently believe that none of our water or wastewater facilities or operations have been negatively impacted by this incident," company officials said.
