A St. Louis County Circuit Court judge entered a nearly $1 million judgment against the Miss America Organization.
The New Jersey-based company that runs the annual competition is required to pay that amount to St. Louis law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.
The Miss America Organization allegedly failed to pay Bryan Cave “for the majority of the legal services rendered" in a 2018 contract, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
