Minority business center coming to St. Louis

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency Center is moving into the St. Louis market, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.

With a $900,000 grant that will last three years, the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council will operate the MBDA center that will encourage the growth and global competitiveness of minority-owned businesses.

The St. Louis MBDA will be part of a network of 40 centers currently operating nationwide. Other new locations include Houston, New York and Washington D.C.
