An increase to the federal minimum wage to $15 per hour was removed from the $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief bill.
The Senate parliamentarian ruled the minimum wage increase could not be part of the bill due to complicated rules governing budget bills in the chamber.
President Joe Biden said he's "disappointed" but urged legislators to still pass the stimulus package.
