On Sept. 23, the night before Millwood's Children's Charity Classic golf tournament, the country club held a pairings party with live and silent auctions to raise money for several charitable organizations including Court Appointed Special Advocates, the Am-erican Diabetes Association, Children's Miracle Network and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A total of approximately $140,000 was raised during the events, co-sponsored by SBJ. At top, Millwood owner Keith Keltner welcomes guests before the start of the auction. Above, Keltner's daughter, Kimberly Mills, gives instructions to her daughters, Mikayla, at far left, and Sophie, wearing the American flag jacket. The girls and their friends walked the auction items through the crowd for everyone to see. At right, this stone figurine of a golfer was one of the many items offered in the silent auction.
