Millions drop off food stamps

The latest numbers from the U.S. Department of Agriculture show the number of people collecting food stamps has fallen drastically since President Donald Trump took office.

Since Trump's first full month in office, more than 2.8 million people have stopped participating in the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program, aka food stamps.

May 2018 SNAP enrollment was 39.3 million, down from 42.1 million in February 2017.
