About 3 million people dropped Obamacare health insurance for the year ended in February, according to new federal data.
According to health analysts, the drop in coverage was largely related to the Jan. 1 expiration of federal subsidies.
That caused a surge in plan costs and resulted in many people no longer able to pay their premiums.
