Miller Commerce developing new senior living center

Posted online
Miller Commerce LLC is developing a senior living center at the southeast corner of Jefferson Avenue and Sunset Street.

General contractor Finley Construction LLC broke ground on the 30-unit gated community, dubbed Tera Vera, last month. Workers have put down foundation and piping at the site.

The single-story duplex units with private garages and 1,000-square-foot clubhouse are expected to be completed in the spring, said Brent Stevens, principal of project architect H Design Group LLC.

MillerCommerce.com lists the Coryell family of TLC Properties as partners in the project, which is slated to open to residents in the summer.

The 4.4-acre parcel is listed on the Greene County assessor’s website in the ownership of So El District LLC. According to the Missouri secretary of state, that entity is owned by developer Rick Muenks, who is developing a $1.2 million facility in north Springfield for Fresenius Medical Care North America’s second Springfield dialysis clinic.

Miller Commerce was formed in 2013, when Miller and Pat O’Reilly dissolved Miller-O’Reilly Co. Inc.

Out of that venture, O’Reilly formed O’Reilly Development Co. LLC, which currently is working on millions of dollars worth of senior living communities.
