Millennials invest like their grandparents

A study this week from UBS revealed that millennials, typically defined as those between the ages of 21 and 36, can't stomach much market risk.

Scarred by the Great Recession, those in the age group are investing much like their grandparents, who sat on money after the Great Depression, according to CNNMoney.

"Millennials have kind of a cash-under-the-mattress thinking about saving," said Emily Pachuta, one of the architects of the study."They feel anxious and fearful of the market."

Still, according to CNNMoney, millennials arguably need to invest to keep their wealth from staying stagnant.
