The Builders’ Association provides high quality and valued services that contribute to the betterment of each individual member and the construction industry. These services include: workers’ compensation insurance, health insurance, safety training and consulting, plan room services, labor relations and negotiations, governmental affairs, and education and training programs.
When was the local affiliate founded?
The association was organized in 1887. The Springfield office opened in 1986.
Who is eligible for association membership, and how many members are there?
Membership is available to general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and manufacturers’ representatives. Associate membership is available for banks, law firms and insurance companies. The association has a total of 955 members with 253 members in the Southern Division.
Why is The Builders Association involved with Salute to Construction?
The Builders’ Association and Salute to Construction share the goal of promoting the construction industry. Being involved with Salute to Construction gives our association another opportunity to contribute to the industry. Working with other members of Salute to Construction gives our association additional feedback, which can be used to better serve members of The Builders’ Association.
What activities does the organization provide for its members and/or the community each year?
