According to a news release, longtime Springfield residents Jack Langley and Jerry Peterie will continue to lead Midwest Lending Source as co-branch managers and mortgage specialists at the company’s 3165 S. Campbell Ave. location. Ron Weis, vice president of commercial lending for Gershman in Springfield, will move his office to Midwest’s location, the release said.
Langley said Midwest is pleased to align itself with Gershman Mortgage.
“Our affiliation … will only help strengthen and enhance the range of mortgage products and services we are able to provide to the Springfield area,” Langley said in the release. “All our loans will now be underwritten in-state, and we will be able to extend multifamily financing products to commercial clients.”
Founded in 1953, Gershman provides financing for single-family homes in the St. Louis area and for commercial multifamily projects nationwide.
