Midterms generated $41.1M in Arkansas political ads

Political advertising related to the midterm elections generated $41.1 million in sales for media outlets in the Natural State this year.

In all, there were 96,000 ads this political season in Arkansas. The numbers were compiled by the Center for Public Integrity.

The U.S. Senate race between Mark Pryor and Tom Cotton garnered the most activity, with 65,700 ads worth $29.4 million, according to Arkansas Business.
