Microsoft plans to protect in court its Dreamer employees if the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program is rolled back.
Company President Brad Smith said in a blog post that President Donald Trump's plan to end DACA is "a big step back for our entire country."
Microsoft knows of 39 employees covered by the program, which allows undocumented immigrants brought to the United States as children to live, work and study in the country.
"If the government seeks to deport any one of them, we will provide and pay for their legal counsel," Smith wrote.
