Microsoft reports 17% revenue growth

Microsoft reported fiscal second quarter revenue that jumped 17% to more than $43 billion on cloud business growth.

Analysts had predicted sales of roughly $40 billion.

Earnings per share came to $2.03, beating the $1.64 per share estimate by analysts.
