Microsoft fires two employees for breaking into exec office

Microsoft has fired two employees for breaking into President Brad Smith's office.

The employees were among seven current and former Microsoft workers who protested at Microsoft's Redmond, Washington, building on Tuesday. Affiliated with the No Azure for Apartheid group, the individuals were reportedly protesting the Israeli military's alleged use of Microsoft software as part of the conflict in Gaza.

A Microsoft spokesperson said the employees were terminated over "serious breaches of company policies and our code of conduct."
