Michael Bloomberg is back on top at Bloomberg

Despite protestations to the contrary, Michael Bloomberg has retaken control of the financial media firm that bears his name.
 
CNNMoney reports that nine months after leaving the New York City mayor's office after a 12-year encampment, the media mogul started spending more time in the firm's newsrooms and apparently liked the ambiance, crediting Bloomberg LP President Daniel Doctoroff's leadership with his own renewed interest in running the company he earlier claimed he "never intended" to go back to.
 
Both Bloomberg and Doctoroff admitted Bloomberg's reappearance made it difficult for Doctoroff to maintain his leadership. Doctoroff noted that Bloomberg is "like God" at Bloomberg LP, saying, "You have to understand that when God comes back, things are going to be different. When God reappeared, people defer."
