The Missouri Housing Development Commission Jan. 18 approved 86 grants totaling $4.5 million in funding for agencies and organizations providing housing assistance for low-income families in Missouri. |ret||ret||tab|

Funding, which is provided by the Missouri Housing Trust Fund, must be used to financially assist the development of housing and provide housing assistance to very low-income individuals and families.|ret||ret||tab|
The Housing Trust Fund MHTF is designed to increase affordable housing opportunities for low-income families. Eligible MHTF activities include those that are related to homeless programs such as sheltrs, and homeownership and rental assistance.
