MFA Oil makes 8th acquisition in 12 months

MFA Oil Co. last week purchased Elaine Petroleum Distribution Inc., marking the company's second acquisition since its fiscal year began Sept. 1 and its eight in the past 12 months.

Elaine, Ark.-based refined fuels supplier Elaine Petroleum boosts MFA's oil position in eastern Arkansas.

MFA Oil, a farmer-owned cooperative with more than 40,000 members, operates Break Time convenience stores, Jiffy Lube franchises in central Missouri and Big O Tires franchises in central Missouri and Arkansas. It supplies fuels, lubricants and propane to customers in 13 states.
