Mexico hikes interest rates again

For the fourth time since the U.S. election in November, Mexico has hiked interest rates.

Mexico's central bank on Thursday pushed rates by 0.25 percentage point to 6.5 percent.

Leaders of the central bank say hiking interest rates and selling dollars to international investors is meant to combat a decline in the peso over U.S. President Donald Trump's election.
