Metro Renovations

Posted online
Executives at Metro Credit Union cut the ribbon Aug. 1 on the newly renovated facility, 447 S. Campbell Ave. At top right, on hand are, from left, Marilyn Montel, Michael Pinkley, Wayne Gregory, Larry Edgar, Kathie Peterie, Kathy Raymond and Dave O’Dell. The facility includes a children’s room, community room and additional media technology. A 1,000-square-foot, $940,000 addition, according to previous SBJ coverage, is the first since the building was constructed in the late 1980s.

Bottom right, artist Richard Dudden works on an oil-pastel mural in the credit union parking lot. The demonstration, which also included a display of Dudden’s sculpture inside the credit union, was part of the monthly First Friday Art Walk.[[In-content Ad]]
