Facebook parent company Meta is laying off around 5% of its workforce, according to an internal memo obtained by Bloomberg.
"I’ve decided to raise the bar on performance management and move out low-performers faster," CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in the memo.
With 72,000 employees as of September, the cuts amount to around 3,600 jobs.
