Facebook parent company Meta Platforms Inc.'s market value plunged by a record $232 billion on Thursday.
That's the largest single-day decline in market value on record for any U.S. company.
The decrease came as Meta officials laid out a list of business pressures, including the rise of TikTok and privacy changes made by Apple.
