Springfield-based Meridian Title Co. entered a sponsorship deal with Nixa Public Schools.
The district yesterday announced a $300,000, five-year partnership with Meridian for the Aetos Center for the Performing Arts. The center is slated to open in February.
Meridian's branding will appear on outdoor signage under the main Aetos Center for the Performing Arts sign, as well as various interior signage.
“One of the key indicators of a happy and healthy community is a community that invests in the arts and encourages its students to participate and thrive in them," said Jeremy and Emily Burcham, owners of Meridian Title, in a joint statement included in the news release. "Our school and community is making a huge investment in this area, and we are simply doing our part to help it thrive."
The Aetos Center for the Performing Arts is undergoing a roughly $15.3 million addition and renovation, according to past reporting.
Earlier this year, Meridian expanded its footprint into new markets in the Ozarks with the acquisition of Joplin-based Abbey Title Co., Springfield Business Journal previously reported.
April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
