Mercy Springfield Communities' second primary care clinic in Ozarks is now operational.
The 1758 S. 20th St. clinic debuted yesterday with a ribbon-cutting and blessing ceremony, according to a news release.
“Mercy’s commitment to the Ozark community continues to grow with this new clinic," said Alicia Deck, Mercy executive director of operations, in the release. "By bringing more services closer to home, we’re ensuring families have convenient, top-tier care without having to travel far."
The over 2,750-square-foot clinic is expected to serve more than 2,000 patients per year, officials say. The clinic is led by Tina O’Byrne.
The Mercy clinic takes the place of an Ozzie Smith IMAC Regeneration Center located in a retail center that's southeast of the U.S. Highway 65 and South Street interchange in Ozark.
Mercy's other Ozark clinic opened in 2016 at 505 N. 25th St., according to past reporting.
