Mercy has completed an ownership transfer of a Kansas hospital.
Mercy announced the agreement with Ascension in February to take over ownership of the Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg. The deal was finalized Sept. 1.
The facility now operating as Mercy Hospital Pittsburg has 102 licensed beds and about 490 employees.
