St. Louis-based Mercy has completed a deal for Cape Girardeau-based SoutheastHealth.
Mercy assumed SoutheastHealth’s $180 million in debt as part of the deal.
Mercy has pledged to support the southeast Missouri system financially, recruit more physicians and expand medical care.
