Mercy announces $500M expansion in northwest Arkansas

Mercy is expanding in northwest Arkansas to the tune of $500 million.

The St. Louis-based health care system plans to expand and upgrade its facilities, including a cancer treatment center.

The investment marks the second phase of upgrades to the health care system's facilities in the area.

Perhaps Mercy should do something about the wait times in the ER in Springfield. My sisters last visit was 22 hours and the nurse told her that it has been as high as 31 hours. How is this acceptable!
