Steve Harmon has been named president of Mercantile Bank of South Central Missouri. He replaces David W. Felske, who Oct. 2 retired as chairman, president and chief executive officer.
Prior to being named president, Harmon served as executive vice president, senior lender, at the Springfield bank. He also served as senior vice president of Mercantile Bank in Kansas City. There he was responsible for all commercial lending in the metropolitan and branch lending departments.
Harmon has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
