Menards accused of price gouging in Michigan

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel's office issued a cease and desist letter to Menards over alleged price gouging.

Nessel's office alleges Menards has exploited public fear about the coronavirus by raising prices. An example given by Nessel's office is doubling the price of bleach.

The attorney general's office may initiate legal action after a 10-day response period from Menards ends.
