Memphis Redbirds undergoing $6.5M stadium renovation

Posted online
The Memphis Redbirds – the St. Louis Cardinals’ triple-A minor league team – are in the middle of a $6.5 million renovation to AutoZone Park, which is expected to be complete by April 3.

The upgrade comes with new technology, a new field and seating, along with a new club level and suites, according to the Memphis Business Journal. The new club level, while reducing the number of suites from 33 to 29, will now give fans the chance to watch games from a bar area, and include an all-inclusive area where fans can get tickets, pregame meals, soft drinks, wine and beer for one price.

The renovations, which are not prompting an increase in ticket prices, will come with nine- and 18-game ticket packs for fans who don’t want to buy a full, 72-game season pass.
