Mega Millions is making a series of changes to the popular multistate lottery game.
Ticket prices are rising to $5 from $2, and "breakeven prizes" are being discontinued. The latter change means winning tickets will be more than the cost of the $5 ticket.
Mega Millions also is making changes that increase the odds of winning, officials say.
