Median home prices in the Silicon Valley area have exceeded $2 million for the first time, according to National Association of Realtors data.
Median prices for existing single-family homes in the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara metro area rose 11.6% in the second quarter to $2.08 million.
It's the first metro area to reach that threshold in the history of NAR data.
