The Missouri Ethics Commission found former Gov. Eric Greitens committed no wrongdoing in a probe over alleged campaign violations.
The investigation found two violations committed by campaign committees affiliated with Greitens. As part of the order, Greitens is required to pay $38,000 and have the rest of the total $178,000 fine waived.
"Our contention from the beginning was that the accusations against Mr. Greitens were baseless," said Catherine Hanaway, an attorney representing Greitens.
