Consulting firm McKinsey & Co. has agreed to pay $650 million to resolve a U.S. Department of Justice investigation.
The probe has looked into McKinsey's consulting work for OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma.
The payment is part of a five-year deferred prosecution agreement that McKinsey entered in federal court.
