McDonald's US president retires

McDonald's U.S. President Mike Andres is retiring from the company. The 58-year-old is a 30-year veteran of the chain.

He'll be succeeded on Jan. 1 by Chris Kempczinski, executive vice president of strategy, business development and innovation.

Kempczinski will be the fast-food chain's fourth U.S. business head since November 2012.
