McDonald's yesterday outlined a restructuring plan that includes an overhaul of its corporate structure.
The fast-food giant intends to increase “resources in key strategic areas like technology and field consulting,” according to information posted on the company’s website.
McDonald’s expects to record a pretax charge of $80 million to $90 million in the second quarter as it eliminates its existing regional corporate structure in favor of field offices.
