McDonald’s is planning a round of layoffs around the country as part of efforts to slash $500 million in administrative expenses by the end of 2019.
A McDonald’s spokeswoman said the move “will ensure McDonald's continues on a path to being more dynamic, nimble and competitive.”
The number of affected employees at the restaurant chain’s regional U.S. offices was not disclosed.
