McDonald's switching to fresh beef in Quarter Pounders

McDonald's yesterday announced it will start making its Quarter Pounder with fresh beef patties.

The change will start next year at a majority of the company's U.S. restaurants.

Rival Wendy's often emphasize its usage of fresh, not frozen, beef.
