McDonald’s sues former CEO

McDonald’s filed suit against former CEO Steve Easterbrook, who was fired eight months ago for sending sexual texts to a subordinate.

The suit alleges Easterbrook had sexual relationships with three McDonald’s employees before he was ousted and that he gave a batch of shares to one of those employees.

Easterbrook is accused of lying, concealing evidence and fraud. He was awarded a $40 million exit package when he was fired, and McDonald's is now seeking to recoup the funds.
