McDonald's is moving to discontinue use of Heinz after the former Burger King Worldwide CEO was appointed to run the ketchup company.
CEO Bernardo Hees also serves as vice chairmany of the board of Miami-based Burger King, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
"As a result of recent management changes at Heinz, we have decided to transition our business to other suppliers over time," said a statement from Oak Brook, Ill.-based McDonald's.
