McDonald’s reports net income boost

McDonald's Corp. reported net income of $1.3 billion for the third quarter, a 23 percent increase compared to $1.1 billion a year earlier

Diluted share earnings were $1.40, up from $1.09.

However, revenue declined 5 percent to $6.6 billion.
