McDonald’s reported earnings and revenue that were below analysts' expectations.
For the third quarter, the fast-food giant posted earnings per share of $2.11, below the $2.21 estimate by analysts. Revenue was $5.43 billion, a slight miss from the $5.47 billion target by analysts.
Officials cited ongoing investments in technology.
