McDonald's ousts CEO

McDonald’s Corp. fired CEO Steve Easterbrook, who's held the top role since 2015.

Board members said Easterbrook "demonstrated poor judgment" in having a consensual relationship with a current employee.

The board chose Chris Kempczinski, president of McDonald's U.S. operations, as Easterbrook's successor.
