McDonald's misses first-quarter estimates

McDonald's Corp. posted first-quarter net income of $811.5 million, a 33 percent decrease compared to $1.2 billion earnings in the same quarter last year.

According to CNNMoney, share earnings were $1.01, 5 cents below expectations.

The company's $5.96 billion revenue was in line with expectations.
